Who we are.

Founded in 1987, Calber was developed by both our Managing Directors, Alan Doman & Les Cannings. With a vision to create a company that can deliver both large and small projects, but retain that personal interest in every client, both by direct communication with the client and through their reporting procedures. Joining in 1998, they are now supported by their sons, Danny Cannings & Steve Doman within the business.

Staff Training.

A full training and induction programme are carried out for all staff to encourage correct working practices, use of equipment, chemicals and materials that they are expected to use as part of their duties. Individual training records are fully maintained and are available if required. We encourage our clients to be fully involved and their recommendations are often incorporated into Calber’s training and quality procedures.

Health & Safety.

At Calber we work with our clients to promote and ensure a safe working culture is maintained, by providing suitable systems, equipment and training in order to maintain the safety of our employees, clients and other stakeholders. All of this is underpinned by our ISO safety certification.

Clients are issued with full risk assessments and method statements for all work carried out. COSHH data sheets are supplied for all products and employees are provided with a company Health and Safety manual which is updated to incorporate our clients’ individual procedures and site requirements.
