MEPC Milton Park Press Release

MEPC, manager and developer of Milton Park, and Calber Facilities Management (Calber), together announce a further three year working partnership. Calber, a local facilities company, has retained its M&E Maintenance and Cleaning contracts at the leading science and business park for a further three years. This extended contract further ensures job retention and creation in the area, and brings the total number of Calber employees across Milton Park to 140.

The M&E contract includes hard and soft services across the park, seeing Calber deliver an integrated facility of routine cleaning, hygiene services, window cleaning, external maintenance, waste management, technical and M&E services and finally Helpdesk support. It will be extending its service to MEPC’s new speculative development, Park Drive East, upon completion in Q1 of this year.

Managing Directors, Alan Doman and Les Cannings, said: “Having worked and been based on the Park since 1999, this is a prestigious contract for Calber to have retained. We are proud of the partnership that has been developed with the team at Milton Park and our continued work together increases our services portfolio for all companies across the Park.”

Philip Campbell, Commercial Director for MEPC at Milton Park, said: “We have worked with Calber for nearly two decades and are looking forward to continuing to partner with them as part of our commitment to provide a great service to customers at Milton Park. Calber’s work will be especially important in light of our new speculative development – Park Drive East – which will comprise office and laboratory building space for a range of occupiers. We are excited to continue our long-term relationship for many years to come. Thanks to the Facilities Management team for helping with this process.”
